Hey Blake, tell me one thing and do answer my question please! Why did you spend $2000 at Louis Vuitton when you could easily have gone complete bespoke in that range? Please?

A $200 tailored wool suit will always look better and more expensive than a $2000 off the rack suit.

I disagree with George’s comment on a cheap suit having thin lapels. Lapel width depends on the height and build of the wearer. A 5’3” 100lbs manlet won’t ever look good with wide lapels.

LV suit isn't a proper 2000$ suit. Bespoke with great materials and very good tailor is the way to go when you go for this price range. LV is low quality for it's price.
Thanks for your take on this topic.

The most i have ever payed for a suit is 600$. It was a hugo boss suit on sale.
I think you should only buy a suit when it’s on sale

Not sure if it’s just me but George’s suit is way too fitted on him, notably his trouser ?

I like to wear Bonobos suiting. Their suiting are usually either the Mozotto or Vitale Barberis Italian Mills. The price point is fantastic ($550-$750) and the fit is superb! I just ordered my first lightweight suit this week and can't wait to rock it out here in the Desert! George, you're my boy, but Blake is a big inspiration when it comes to suiting. Fantastic video!

Georges’s suit looks like it is made of cardboard. Does not drape or move with his body.

Excellent points gents. I agree. Fit and comfort need not be expensive.

I kinda doubt that fabric is exclusive to LV. Unless it's a limited run, they probably just ordered it from a mill's catalog like any other brand.

Geroge what are your measurements? And how tall are you? I am curious because I'm thinking of trying out Combatant Gent because of their new performance suiting and use it for travel. And I like how your clothes fit, in general.

Hey George. In order to wear a slim suit you must have a slim body.

If your suit doesn't list the mill the fabric is sourced from, it's a garbage fashion suit. I don't care if it costs $5000. Pick a better representation of an expensive suit next time.

LV is not known for their suit. I think more specialized brands such as Kiton, Brioni, Canali, etc. are more comparable.
