May you serve us an extras video all about barley? What you briefed us on there was very interesting. I want to know more about species and types of barley and how they can influence the taste of our drams!

In my country it costs 207€, so that's a big NO from me; I can get 50yo armagnac with that price.

"A little bit of absinthe in Ardbeg"
Cannot thank you enough for that little suggestion. Cheers Ralfy!

Ralfy, I’d like to see some blind reviews or a discussion about blind tastings. Bias and preconceived notions are a strong factor in slipping whisky. I’ve done some blind tastings and have been very surprised with the results

This is obviously Batch 1 of Traigh Bhan, Batch 2 has literally just been released. On Ardbeg's website, Batch 1 cost GBP 169. I was told on Instagram by Ardbeg that Batch 2 will retial for approx GBP 200

Can't find it, and if I do find it I can't afford it.

AWESOME – I am saving up to buy a couple – 1 for the shelf and one for the glass.
Buddy you need to try the Port Charlotte Heavily Peated…. We are trying it right now – if you like peat …. and at 50%…. sex in a glass.

Scotch mist has nothing to do with cloudy whisky, it’s a joke where you say, look for something, say you can’t find it, then someone else finds it, they then say, what’s this, scotch mist

Ralfy, have you tried the Thompson's 18yo Arran Chateau Labouade Sauternes cask? an 18yo Arran with southern cask finish which works really well as an aperitif.
ive also spotted a few wee beasties at my local shop, think ill give that a try. great review as always

Thanks for the review, Ralfy. This is one I have looked at but the budget couldn't quite stretch to this month. Have seen you can still get them but you are paying ££. My guess is though, as time goes by, they will only rise in price (due to them getting even more few & far between). Anyway, cheers mate and take care!

You often finish by saying 'I'm gonna make myself a cup of tea'. Do you really drink tea after a single malt, or is it just an expression?

Another great review. Honestly for its price, I'd rather settle for the 10, the Oogie and the Corrie.

Can't find any reason buying 200+ euro bottle of an avarage Ardbeg. Ten year old is a decent value for money, and I'm affraid that in near future it will become a NAS.

Has Ralfy been compromised? This sounded like an advertisement of a bottle that got universally disappointing reviews.
