On your 90 point integrity malt scar recommendation – I have a bottle winging it's way to me from my favourite New Zealand based whisky establishment. (Whisky Galore – Christchurch New Zealand FYI)

    Talking of Tegriddy

how can this be a thing…

"Glenfiddich Grand Cru 23 Year Old

    ABV 40% | 70cl

    In stock"

    40%?!?!? WHY?!

90, really? I honestly don't believe that is your real opinion, Ralfy. I think some Austrialian dollars just went under the table and were translated into pounds. Good'day matie. 91 votes on Whiskybase for Bladnoch 10 have averaged 82.84. Think about that for a minute. I know you went and looked before you did this review and stuck your rating at the very end to sneak it in there without too many groans. Ralfy, 82.84 is way too far below your 90 rating for your rating to be credible. Your nose, taste buds and brain are far too sharp to make such a blunder without some compensation. You are a brilliant whisky critic and I'm very sad to see this kind of thing on your vlog channel here. The old Bladnoch's were great! I used to love the single cask cask strength older ones up over 18 years of age. That was back before an Australian richy richer bought the distillery and turned it into high production mass produced 82.84 caliber whisky.

Tried this a few months ago and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious and deep this is. Swore that day it was on my ever expanding "to buy" list.

Come off your high horse, Ralfy. People are not dumb or shallow because they buy whiskies with caramel colour and/or chill filtration. They don't know better. And even if they knew, they would not be able to tell the difference. Even malt mates buy these whiskies on occasion because they like them.
