Been wearing them for about 3 years now. Think it was Harry Styles who got me liking the look.

How ironic. I just purchased my first one from Express. They have some nice slim fit Hawaiian prints. Both your shirts are sweet!

Thanks for this. I just picked three Hawaiian shirts and was surprised by the fit. As you stated they were not boxy and the patterns were very good looking and complimentary. Keep up the good work!

If you have arm tatoos that are messy wear long sleeves.

I have a few Hawaiian shirts, but they are vintage ones that were my dads. I’ve kind of embraced the boxier/oversized fit of them.

I think the name "Hawaiian Shirt" pretty much indicates where and when this type of shirt should be worn. I live on a tropical island (not Hawaii), and shirts like this are standard issue here. However, I wouldn't wear this kind of shirt when I visit Montana or Colorado to see family. It's kinda like people who dress like they're going camping (REI gear), but are hanging out downtown. I think tasteful dress entails embracing the physical environment in which you live/are. As a side note, living near water does not make a shirt like this appropriate; only certain bodies of water at certain latitudes.

    Keep up the great content!

Some man can pull that off very easily, its a confidence thing.
Heyy don't bash the old Hawaiiana, some of the real vintage ones can go for a couple of $$$.

As with everything, Hawaiian Shirts can be very stylish but they have to fit well, matched well (the floral multicolor design is difficult to match so the easiest is to wear with neutral pants like white, sand or grey) and you always have to consider it will most likely be the statement piece of the outfit (so don't add any flashy accessories or loud colored shoes/pants). The original kimono fabric hawaiian shirts are really something, if you can afford/obtain one of those, it's definitely a premium crafted item that's worth it.

Hawaiian Shirts, or Aloha Shirts aren't about fashion. It's about a Way of livin'. Not for a look for half-hungred Model Boys, who want to be In for a Season.

Ugly. If you combine hawaiian shirts with arm tatoos you look saturated, clotted. A lot and too much.

Just an FYI. The picture of the necklace that you showed is of a cowrie shell necklace not a puka shell necklace. Cowrie shell jewelry is often incorrectly called puka shell. The two aren't the same.

I'm in solid colors until spring hits every year. Then I'm in florals and Hawaiian prints until the end of summer. I love how fun they are.

ive been wearing hawaiian shirts since the 80s. the fact is, only 4 types wear hawaiian shirts. old men, obnoxious party guys, a few geek types, and gay men. and only one of that group would ever wear a tight hawaiian shirt with sleeves rolled up.

My Grandfather gave me 2 Hawaiian shirts he bought in Hawaii, but these were bought in the 60´s. And i´m not talking about those baggy ones, but slim fit!
